Don’t rush through any of your normal computer/phone activites during the holidays.
Note: The man’s on the line may say he is Santa, but in actuality, someone trying to get your money.
A holiday rush is an opportunity for mistakes. Calls from charities asking you to donate using a gift card are SCAMs. Charities do not use this method for donations. Popups on your computer that tell you you are infected and you must call a number are also SCAMs.
During this holiday season, stay safe, go slow, think before you act. Don’t get caught in the holiday rush.
